Building a Phase-Box for Books
USKC/Kansas City Museum curatorial specialist Rebecca Martz-Burley and Registrar Sarah Wood-Clark will explore preservation techniques in protecting your treasured family Bible or rare books from damage and decay. You’ll learn about the basic components of books, main causes of damage and preventive conservation measures, including building your own protective phase box to take home with you.
