New Date and Times! Long Trolley Tour

Saturday, Sept. 18

Because of the fantastic response we received from you, we’ve added three tours Saturday, Sept. 18 at 8:30; 9 and 11:30* a.m. Discover Robert A. Long’s Kansas City legacy with Jackson County Historical Society archivist David Jackson or Kansas City historian William Worley. Hop on a trolley to tour: Long’s famous home, Corinthian Hall; the R. A. Long Building (now the UMB Bank building) at 10th and Grand and see the board room where Mr. Long managed his lumber empire; and the Liberty Memorial, one of Mr. Long’s most memorable civic contributions to Kansas City. You’ll pass the Independence Boulevard Christian Church, where the Long family worshipped, and Christian Church Hospital, another institution Mr. Long supported.

Contact Education Curator Rebecca Schroeder at 816-483-8300 ext. 1402 to purchase your tickets for the last remaining tours.
